After obtaining his bachelor’s degree in psychology at Howard University, he returned back to Los Angeles and applied his skill set to the field of behavioral therapy and working with children who are on the autism spectrum. Having worked with these children he began to appreciate the physiological importance of how the mind and body unify to carry out our daily functions. This led him to be exposed to  occupational therapy and appreciate the restorative rehabilitation process that goes into helping those in need return to a level of functional independence.

Marley’s goals are to continue to forward the importance of occupational therapy in the medical field, particularly when it comes to stroke rehabilitation due to the detrimental outcomes it can have in impairing patient day-to-day activities.
