Hailing from Compton California, Dr. Calvin Divinity II graduated magna cum laude with his bachelors in allied health sciences with a focus in pre-physical therapy from Howard University in Washington D.C. He then went on to receive his doctorate in physical therapy from Chapman University in Orange, California.
Dr. Divinity’s love for helping people, and his passion for serving and guiding individuals through the rehabilitation process led him to serving as a lead physical therapist and administrator in the long term acute care setting for over 6+ years. While working in the LTACH, Dr. Divinity treated patients with a wide range of injuries and comorbidities including: Brian Injuries, strokes, Neurovascular diseases, cardio pulmonary diseases, and complications from orthopedic surgeries.
Along with his time in the LTACH, Dr. Divinity has worked in the Acute Rehab , Intensive Care Unit, trauma unit, Neuro unit, and transitional care unit. He currently serves as the director of rehab at a long term acute care unit.
Dr. Divinity applies a wholistic / whole body approach to treatment understanding the connection between emotional, spiritual and physical healing. He believes in “treating every patient like family” as he guides them through the rehabilitation process.
